More room to explore.

More ways to connect.

The Sobrato Campus brings science and engineering into closer conversation at Santa Clara University. Labs, classrooms, and maker spaces are linked by places to pause, study, and exchange ideas, so the activity between scheduled classes becomes part of the learning experience.

Working with ZGF, RMA.studio provided space planning, custom furniture design, and furnishings selections. The work gives students and faculty a range of settings for focused work and informal collaboration while supporting a clear, connected experience across the campus. Furniture and shared spaces help a large interdisciplinary building feel approachable at the scale of everyday use.
