Knight Management Center
Stanford Graduate School of Business
The work of learning continues beyond the classroom.
The Knight Management Center gives Stanford's Graduate School of Business a campus built around exchange. Classrooms, team spaces, offices, and outdoor courts are connected so that learning continues beyond a scheduled class. The scale of the project makes the moments between buildings and activities especially important.
RMA.studio provided space planning and furnishings work across a range of settings, from focused work to larger gatherings. The approach gives people choices in how to meet, study, and stay connected to the wider school community. Furniture helps bring a human scale to a broad campus and supports the collaborative teaching model behind it.
